By now most of you would know about the flooding that has taken over a large part of Queensland, one of our states on the East Coast of Australia. Countless homes have been lost, families have been torn apart and there is more flooding expected tonight.
Please help in any way you can by either visiting this site and donating, or offering well wishes to the people affected via Twitter and Facebook.
Girl Friday has just announced that $10 from every item purchased from her store this January will be donated to the flood relief fund.

Aww I know it's awful :( it makes me soo sad. That's good of Girl Friday to donate money to flood relief, I hope more stores help out too xx
yeah its so bad, I still haven't really taken it in to be real. My cousin's house has been demolished in a mudslide, saw some pictures today, pretty crazy. So so sad.

This is just totally heart breaking. We had black friday here in Victoria and you can fight fires but with water...you cant do a lot. And considering most of the state is under water and a lot of houses and power lines are TOTALLY submerged this morning on the news. I definitely have tears in my eyes.
I was scared to turn on the TV this morning. You cant help but feel so helpless when things like this happen.
The scale of this tragedy is unbelievable and the worst is still to come! Thanks for the mention sweet, Hopefully we raise a bit of money.
